Playback devices gone and no sound suddenly after updating yesterday (Fedora 36)

Distro: Fedora 36

So, normally audio works just fine (I have a Sound Blaster Z sound card) and I can select the output. However, all of a sudden today it’s completely broken. At first I saw a muted microphone icon in the system tray and noticed that only the HDMI audio output was available. I tried reinstalling pipewire, pipewire-pulseaudio, wireplumber, alsa-firmware, etc, and now the icon is entirely gone. I can’t even select my sound card in alsamixer, it’s just… gone (the device does show up in lspci though).

I tried following this article, but nothing changed: https://www.ericsbinaryworld.com/202…for-fedora-36/

When I check the status of the wireplumber status however, I do see this:

Code:

Sep 12 15:29:43 fedora systemd[1449]: Started wireplumber.service - Multimedia Service Session Manager.
Sep 12 15:29:43 fedora wireplumber[11175]: Failed to set scheduler settings: Operation not permitted
